Genuine Dining starts programme for people with learning disabilities
Abstract
Contract caterer Genuine Dining has launched The Bridge, an employment programme designed to create meaningful opportunities for people with learning and developmental disabilities.

Through this programme, individuals receive paid employment, mentoring, training, and skills development across Genuine Dining services, as well as opportunities within their clients’ wider teams.

As Genuine Dining continues to embed purpose, sustainability, and innovation across the business, The Bridge demonstrates their commitment to making a positive impact for clients, teams, and communities.

Tim Axe, managing director at Genuine Dining, said: “The Bridge represents a long-term, intentional investment in social value for Genuine Dining. We believe inclusive employment should be embedded into how we operate as a business, not treated as an add-on.

“This programme allows us to create meaningful, paid opportunities for people with learning and developmental disabilities while delivering real value for our clients, teams, and customers. By combining purpose, high-quality service, and genuine impact, The Bridge reflects who we are and the kind of business we want to be.”
