Jimmy Garcia Catering achieves B Corporation certification
Abstract
Jimmy Garcia Catering has achieved B Corp certification, joining a growing group of companies reinventing business by pursuing purpose as well as profit.

It achieved this accolade having met rigorous social and environmental standards which represent its commitment to goals outside of shareholder profit. Jimmy Garcia Catering is now part of a community of 9,000 businesses globally who have certified as B Corps.

The B Corp certification addresses the entirety of a business’ operations and covers five key impact areas of Governance, Workers, Community, Environment and Customers.

Long renowned in the industry as a ‘pioneer’ in sustainability with a focus on locally sourced produce, Garcia was involved with the world’s first single-use plastic free and full vegetarian event kitchen at Davos WEF in 2020 and was on the very first Micebook Power 50 Green Champions list in 2023.

Jimmy Garcia commented: Fifteen years on from launching a supper club in my front room, achieving Certified B Corporation status marks a significant milestone for Jimmy Garcia Catering and our team. We are proud to work with exceptional produce from dedicated local suppliers, building strong, lasting partnerships rooted in responsible sourcing and respect for the environment.

“The B Corp process has strengthened our long-standing commitment to sustainability, sharpening our focus on the responsibilities we hold to our people, our communities and the wider sector. Certification is just the beginning, and we look forward to working even more closely with our supply chain, venue partners and clients to continue raising standards and delivering meaningful impact.”
