A low-sugar vending option

Boka Food has launched its first product, a low-sugar, high-fibre cereal bar, into the vending and catering market. The Boka bar, which has a patent pending, is available in three flavours – caramel, strawberry, and apple and cinnamon.

The 31g bars are under 100 calories and all green in the traffic-light-style nutrition guidelines, and were previewed at Vendex Midlands in April.

The founder of Boka Food, food development specialist Franco Beer, says: “We want people to eat our bars because they enjoy them first and foremost, with the added bonus that they are healthier than the alternatives.”
