Abstract
Tate & Lyle Sugars has unveiled new designs for its range of Fairtrade Sticks and Sachets, which will display individual stories of how Fairtrade certified sugar has helped to improve the lives of farmers and their families in Belize, Central America.

Fraser Chynoweth, foodservice sales director EU at Tate & Lyle Sugars, said: "Our redesigned products help consumers understand the real impacts of Fairtrade and help to highlight our continued commitment in trying to make a positive contribution to small scale cane sugar farmers in developing countries.

“Our research shows that over half of all consumers would feel more positive towards an operator that stocked these Fairtrade sticks and sachets.

"Now, by working closely with the Belize Sugar Cane Farmers Association (BSCFA), our rebranded sticks and sachets help to tell the important stories behind our sugar, our invaluable producers and their communities."

There are eight different variants of stick or sachet, each telling a different story.
