The software offers pupils the ability to collect and pay for school lunches without the need for physical contact, providing a fully contactless meal collection method.
The film features a holiday club at CATCH Leeds, Mandeville Primary in London and Button Lane in Manchester, Marcus Rashford’s former primary school.
The company retained their silver Food for Life status in recognition of the school catering team for serving local and fresh food.
Eight schools chefs cooked at the University of West London Ealing for a place in the final.
The session encouraged children to explore food through looking, smelling, touching and tasting. The TastEd classes aim to ‘inspire’ children to be adventurous and try new flavours.
The team received praise for their ‘innovative approach’ to delivering nutritious and well balanced meals to those within the education sector.
To celebrate the school hosted a themed lunch with frittata and cheese flan made using locally-sourced Leicestershire eggs.
From 7 June until mid-July all HC3S primary schools will be taking part in VegPower’s Eat Them To Defeat Them campaign, which aims to encourage children to consume more vegetables.
